This series is very Oli-Pop lite, because of the 2010 real-world “politics and stuff“, but never mind.

Oli does get a chance to be the superhero, in the two-parter, and yea, the “other series” superhero, Mr Custa, teleports into the middle of the series to sing about how great he is.

The “gnomes” storylines are an allegory for madness, something which Dr StrangeGlove eats for breakfast.
